Hi everyone

I am working on 3 birthday cards (and of each a pink and a blue version) for a birth that is calculated for over two weeks (but like you know it might happen earlier or even later).

In this journal I want to show my WIP's and progress, so I won't spam your inbox with updates of the six cards :'D.


Brainstorm & sketch
Before I even started to think on a design, I browsed on google through birthday cards to get inspired. This is actually necessary because my ideas are mostly limited at the moment I want to try something new.
After that, I've made messy sketches (that I won't show :'D) and traced it by using a lightbox.


Lineart
After I've' scanned the last sketch, I drew the lineart op the PC (I use CorelDraw for my linearts). When the lineart was ready, I've changed the color of the lineart in blue and pink and saved them seperately.




Coloring
I've printed the pink and blue linearts for the coloring. I've decided to use pencils for the coloring.




Craft
After 3 days crafting, I finally finished the three sets of cards.




Several materials were used here, like felt, foam, lace, ribbon, etc.
